Religious & Moral Education

The Religious and Moral syllabus provide learners with the knowledge of coping with moral and ethical issues involving principles such as tolerance, responsibility, honesty, justice and fairness.

The General objectives for Grades 1 - 6 Religious & Moral Education:

Comprehension of religion’s role to mankind.

Prioritize the concept of reconciliation in daily interactions.

Utilize multi-religious stand points towards sexuality issues.

Demonstrate stewardship of family, time, expertise and physical environment.

A learner-centered approach is emphasized in this curriculum. This is based on the firm belief that learning becomes more permanent, meaningful and exciting when learners themselves take ownership of the learning process. Instructors are therefore urged to contrive those classroom strategies that engage learners actively in the teaching and learning process.
